Science CBA
My Science CBA explored how airflow behaves around different shapes using a homemade wind tunnel, tissue paper and a cotton ball. These videos show the airflow observations and movement tests carried out during the experiment.
The wedge shape caused the tissue paper to lift and curl backwards, showing disturbed airflow.
The cuboid shape caused very little visible movement in the tissue paper.
Airflow observation at 5cm distance behind the wedge shape.
Airflow observation at 6cm distance behind the wedge shape.
Airflow observation at 7cm distance behind the wedge shape.
Airflow observation at 8cm distance behind the wedge shape.
Airflow observation at 9cm distance behind the wedge shape.
